ABOUT ME
Priscilla Abbott LMT, CNMT.
I found my passion for massage in 2011 when I attended the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy. It wasn’t until then that I truly understood the impact massage could make on someone’s life. Anything from pain management, to something as (seemingly) simple as reducing stress can be achieved from massage. Very few people are fortunate enough to have a job they love and enjoy going to every day, I am glad to say that I am among those lucky few.
I strive to give each client the massage they are looking for. What I have found over the years is that very few people fit within a box: swedish, deep tissue, trigger point. Almost everyone has a mixture of things they are trying to accomplish, “I hold my stress in my neck and shoulders, but I really love a full body relaxation massage.” This is where my heart is, helping others reduce their stress and relieving pain.
After four years of working in another’s practice I made the choice to venture out on my own. This was not a decision to make lightly, owning and operating a business is a big responsibility but I knew if I wanted to further my career it was the only logical choice to make. Peak Therapeutic Massage came into existence in 2016, and open for business on April 1st. Currently the practice only includes myself, but hopefully as the business grows more therapists will be needed.
